Mona Tougaard has become a regular CHANEL It-Girl, appearing on the runway, in campaigns for ready-to-wear, beauty and fine jewellery collections, as well as editorial content in various fashion magazines, wearing covetable CHANEL pieces.
Her first appearance on a CHANEL runway was Karl Lagerfeld’s last for CHANEL – the Fall-Winter 2019 Ready to Wear. She also appeared in the campaign for the same collection alongside models Rebecca Leigh Longendyke, Vittoria Ceretti, Kris Grikaite and Jing Wen.

Since then, she has appeared in the majority of CHANEL runway shows. While Mona has yet to open a CHANEL show, she has had the privilege of closing three times to date. The first time was as part of a trio at the Fall-Winter 2020 RTW collection with Gigi Hadid and Hyunji Shin. The second time was for the Metiers d’Art 2023 show which took place in Dakar, Africa and the third occasion was the Fall-Winter 2025/26 RTW show. Mona also appeared as the sole model in the campaign for the F/W 2025/26 RTW collection, wearing various looks from the collection all around the streets of Paris. She has also appeared in both Matthieu Blazy’s debut collections for CHANEL – the Spring/Summer 2025 collection and the Metiers d’Art 2026 show in NYC.

Mona has also been the face of multiple beauty and fine jewellery collections over the years, most notably the Fall-Winter 2022 makeup collection that focused on a wide range of nude-inspired shades for foundation, lipstick and nail colours, the 2023 Les Beiges “Summer-To-Go Essentials” campaign, and the 2025 Watches and Fine Jewellery Holiday collection.

As a fashion magazine mainstay, many of Mona’s editorials have included CHANEL looks, while some have solely been CHANEL features. She is one of the lucky models who was included in the Chaos SixtyNine x CHANEL Special Edition Issue, published in August 2020. Mona was featured on one of the thirteen different covers that were published as part of the release, in addition to various photographs included within the poster style magazine. For Vogue Korea’s July 2024 edition, Mona fronted 3 different covers plus a spread, all in looks from the CHANEL Metiers d’Art 2024 collection. For Vogue France December 2025, Mona can be seen wearing a CHANEL jacket from Blazy’s CHANEL Spring/Summer 2026 collection, marking one of the first appearances of this collection in an editorial.
