A staple that will never go out of style – the nude lip. Perfect for everyday ease, achieving the “no-makeup, makeup” aesthetic, or for balancing out a dramatic eye. It can make you feel instantly glamorous without feeling overdone. Popularized in the ‘90’s, it has yet to fall from the top go-to beauty looks.
Here, my top three, go-to, in constant rotation, selection of CHANEL BEAUTY nude lipsticks:
Noted as an “apricot nude”, this lipstick is made to hydrate and nourish. Ingredients include multiple waxes which assist with lasting colour and just the right amount of shine. This line is currently unavailable online with a reformulation and new range of colours set to be released – I’m hoping for a very close match as this is truly one of my favourite beauty products.
Classified as a “warm beige”, the texture of the Rouge Allure line melts away creating a luminous, satiny finish. With a high concentration of pigmented colour and buildable coverage, this lipstick adds dimension to your lips. The list of ingredients includes coconut and castor oils to hydrate, adding to the appeal.
A “soft beige” matte lipstick – simple in theory but finding the perfect iteration isn’t always easy. Until now. This matte lipstick is non-drying and wears as a comfortable “second skin”. Excellent pigmentation with buildable coverage while also being lightweight is how this product is described and it delivers on its promise.
